SUMMARY:Mastering The Human Element Of Dog Training - Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Interpersonal Skills For Dog Training Professionals\n\nAre you
ready to change your dog training business? It’s time for you to be set
apart from your competitors.\n\nHave you ever said\, “I work with dogs b
ecause I like them better than people?” Or\, “I have no problem traini
 ng dogs\, it's the business part I don't get.” Or\, “I love training d
ogs\, it's the talking to owners that I find hard.” The list goes on and
on.\n\nWhat if I told you that\, after just one weekend\, your dog traini
ng career could be put into high gear?\n\nWhat if you could be saved from
all the time and stress of figuring out how to relate and communicate with
clients?\n\nWhat if you could learn how to organically grow your business
with little to no money?\n\nDog training has become a successful and popu
lar industry. There are many qualified people and programs out there to sh
ow you how to train dogs. What there isn't is a program that teaches you h
ow to navigate the interpersonal relationships that come with dog training
. You can't have dog training without people and with people comes persona
lities. With personalities comes problems and friction.\n\nDogs are a very
personal part of someone's life. Sometimes they are much like children to
their owners. So\, how do you deliver bad news? How do you tell someone t
heir dog isn't the problem\, they are? How do you give guidance when the p
erson has no interest in dog training\, or even really working much with t
heir dog?\n\nOver the 30+ years of individual experience working with anim
als and the public\, Megan Hart (owner of Megan Trains Dogs)\, and Terry H
arris (owner of West Tennessee K9)\, have decided to do a multi-state week
end seminar series. Their goal is to help existing trainers\, as well as p
eople\, that are interested in training. This includes a guide and coachin
g to help with problems associated with being a professional dog trainer.\
n\nBoth Megan and Terry have trained out of their homes and in large facil
ities. Each environment comes with its own unique obstacles. With this exp
erience\, they have created a program that covers every aspect and nuance
of dealing with clients.\n\nIn this program\, here are just a few things w
e will cover.\n\n How to present yourself in front of owners\n Making yo
ur business client focused\, allowing you to help more dogs\n Learn how t
o communicate with clients simply and easily\n Setting realistic expectat
ions for clients without compromising your work product\n How tdo navigat
e the myriad of emotions you'll experience from clients\n When and how to
deliver bad news\n Setting realistic boundaries with your business and d
irectly with clients\n Navigating really difficult clients\n Honestly an
d effectively have a conversation about training tools and their use\n So
cial media\, why it's important and what is changing\n Knowing what type
of business model is right for you\n Overcoming fear related to presentin
g and speaking in front of people\n How to speed up training while keepin
g the quality\n How to sell without selling\n Creating work and life bal
ance in the 24 hour world of dog care\n And so much more....\n\nIf you wa
nt to learn any or all of this\, now's your chance!\n\nMegan and Terry wou
ld like to share their years of trial\, error\, and failures\, so you won'
t and don't have to make the same mistakes they did.\n\nAre you ready for
the cost? Another goal we have is to bring abundant value while keeping th
e price reasonable.\n\nThere are two types of spots available:\n\n Workin
 g 400.00 – Includes you and one dog to work\n Audit 250.00 – Be a par
t of the workshop without a dog\n\nWe only have 5 Working spots and 5 Audi
t spots available.\nCourse Schedule\n\n Friday – Evening meet and greet
 . 5 to 8\n Saturday – Training 9-4\n Sunday - Training 9-2\n Lunch wi
